Pack 55 Dens‎ > ‎

Tiger scout program is for 1st graders (age 6 and 7).  There are monthly den meetings where requirements for six required adventures are covered (and several elective ones).  When a adventure is completed, scouts earn a belt loop.  When all requirements are complete the Tiger Badge is earned (typically in the spring).  At this age, the scouts will attend events with an adult partner (parent or guardian).  New members are always welcome to join,  contact the Den Leaders listed for more questions.

  • Games Tigers Play Requirements 3 and 4 - We created our own game from scratch as a mini group in our dens and brainstormed to create game rules using materials provided.  Then took turns playing each others games.
  • We selected a Service project to do to complete "Team Tiger" and do a requirement for "Duty to God", this year we will use our February meeting to fold flags for The Pocket Flag Project.  More details at:
  • Pinewood Derby Car Overview- some final cars were shown to give scouts ideas for making their own cars for the next troop meeting  It does take a little planning (cutting, sanding, adding weights, a few coats of paint, etc.) so make sure you don't wait until the day before the race to get started.  If you get stuck or have questions, please let your den leaders know.  There are lots of plans and guides online and plenty of YouTube videos available to get you started if you have never made one before.
  • Reminder to sign up for Winter Cabin Camping, the Wave Game and the EAA Museum events if you are interested in attending
